Why is it important for my family to participate in the planning process?
Your family is part of the Mac church family and it takes all the parts of this body working together (even in our financial stewardship planning) to grow in ministry and service. Your family participation is vital in the process.

What if I’m not sure how much to put on the card?
The amount you put on the card is between you and God.  We hope you prayerfully consider how God has blessed your family and how you can be a blessing to others through supporting the MacArthur Park Church of Christ.  So put what you believe you can commit in 2022 per week on the card.

It’s ok to turn in a card committing a very small amount or nothing at all “$0″, if you feel like you cannot give at this time.  We still want your family to participate in the process and pray that your situation will change and you’ll have the means and feel the joy of giving to MacArthur Park.

What if my income changes?
Things happen when you might be able to give more or less than you placed on the card. Your contribution will not be individually monitored by anyone to make sure it matches your commitment card.

Why does the budget have to be balanced with the TOTAL of the commitment cards?
Our leaders have found through the years that when the church participates in the planning process we can be better stewards of the blessings God has given us.  The Financial Planning Team will have to set a financial plan (a reduction or increase) to fund ministry requests that does not exceed the total sum of the Commitment Cards received

Who serves on the Financial Planning Team?
Shayne West is chairman of this team.  Members include:  Sam Wells, Grant Cobb, Glen Gray, Dave Reynolds,  David Banton, Kevin Haley,  Alan Babcock and Richard Shough. Kevin Haley is the Shepherd who coordinates Administration. 

Can I give my weekly or monthly contribution by having it “debited” from my checking account?
We offer ACH debit services for members who would like to take advantage of this.  Many families use this service which auto debits their account for their requested amount on a monthly or weekly basis.  It’s simple to enroll… just complete a form anytime.   ACH forms must be renewed each budget year.  This service can be cancelled anytime by contacting Kevin Haley.   Forms are available in the church office and the Family Room.

Can I give electronically?
You can give anytime on our MAC-APP.  Download the APP from the APPLE STORE or GOOGLE PLAY on your phone  (Search MACCHURCH). Giving on the APP can be initiated each time or set up for reoccurring donations.
